Introduction
The Estate Digital Intake will change the way you share information on an estate with your lawyer.
By leveraging our enhanced Estate Digital Intake system, you’ll save time, improve accuracy, and streamline communication—both for you and your firm.
Accessing the Estate Intake Webpage
Click on the link in the email you received from your law firm to start the Estate Intake process as follows:
1. Estate Intake Page – The Estate Intake Page will appear. In the What is the password that was provided? type in the password and click Next to proceed.
2. The Estate Intake Page will appear. The Intake page contains 5 tabs as follows: Deceased Information, Beneficiary(s) Details, Executor(s) Details, Assets Of the Deceased and Liabilities of the Deceased.
3. Complete all mandatory fields and as many as the non-mandatory fields as possible on each tab.
4. To proceed to the next tab, click Next at the bottom of each tab.
5. Beneficiary and Executor Tabs
- add a beneficiary or Executor by clicking on + Add beneficiary or + Executor. When you click on + Add beneficiary or + Executor, a new Beneficiary or Executor section will appear.
- minimize any beneficiary or executor by clicking on the ^ at the top of each section.
- remove any beneficiary or executor by clicking on the Remove button.
- Once you have added all beneficiaries and executors, click Next to proceed to the next page.
6. Assets of the Deceased Tab
- select an Asset from a list of Asset Types from the drop down.
- manually enter the Exact Value at Date of Death for the asset.
- enter the Ownership type from the drop down if know for the asset. If unknown leave the field blank, and the data will not pass back in the import.
- add an asset by clicking on + Add asset. A new Asset section will appear.
- minimize any Asset section by clicking on the ^ at the top of each section.
- remove any asset by clicking on the Remove button. If there are no assets or if the assets are unknown currently, click Remove and click Next to proceed to the next tab.
- Once all assets have been added, click Next to proceed to the next page or select Back to return to the previous page.
7. Liabilities of the Deceased Tab
- select a liability from the list of Liability Types from the drop down.
- manually enter the Exact Value at Date of Death for the liability.
- enter the Ownership type from the drop down if know for the liability. If unknown they will leave the field blank, and the data will not pass back in the import.
- Add a liability by clicking on + Add liability. A new liability section will appear.
- minimize any liability section by clicking on the ^ at the top of each section.
- remove any liability by clicking on the Remove button. If there are no liabilities or if the liabilities are unknown currently, click Remove and click Submit.
- Once all liabilities have been added, click Submit
8. The Estate Intake will be submitted back to the law firm, and you will be presented with the following confirmation message.
9. You will no longer be able to access Estate Intake page after it has been submitted, if you try to access the webpage, you will see Intake already submitted error on the login page.
