Within each task, users who have the required permission, can add a deadline to the task as well as assign themselves or a collaborator on the estate file to the task.
- By adding a deadline to a task, this will display a tag on the task in the list with the amount of time left to complete the task.
- Assigning a task to yourself or a collaborator on the file will notify that person and should the task have a deadline, they will be reminded at a frequency of their choosing (2, 5, 7 days or all prior to its due date).
- If the task has a deadline but no formal assignee, the case file owner will be notified prior to the deadline.
Note: Deadlines and Assignees can be removed or changed at any time.
