I need to allocate an item to a beneficiary/beneficiaries

To record an entitlement in-kind (e.g. the home has been bequeathed onto the deceased's spouse, sentimental items have been allocated to beneficiaries, etc.), you would start by creating the Beneficiary.

Then, you can create the Inventory item being allocated. If the item has already been created, click on the three-dot menu and select Edit. Screen_Shot_2022-02-10_at_5.52.22_PM.png

Once you are in the item creation screen, you will see a checkbox labelled "Bequest." When you select it, you will be able to choose whether the item will be allocated evenly (if there are multiple beneficiaries), or by specific percentages/fractions per beneficiary.

You can then select a beneficiary from the drop-down list. If the item is being allocated to more than one person, click the "+ Add beneficiary" button to add a second drop-down.
