Add and edit an executor profile

Add an executor, trustee, or personal representative profile to a file so their details appear on forms, letters, and accounting reports. This article covers both adding and editing.

Add an executor or Trustee

  1. Go to the Contacts section of the file.

  2. Click the Executors tab at the top.

  3. Click Add New in the top-right corner.

  4. Select the Executor Type: Individual or Corporate.

  5. Enter the required information:

    • Trust Company Name

    • Alternate name used in the will (leave blank if the current legal name is used)

    • Phone number

    • Email address

    • Date of birth (if required)

    • Trust Officer's Name

    • Mailing address

    • Acting Status — if you select No to "Is this person acting as executor?", choose the reason so they are correctly accounted for in applicable documents

    • Jurat (if different from the default entered in Intake)

  6. Click Save.

Tip: If an executor is also a beneficiary, click the three-dot menu next to their profile and select Make beneficiary to copy their details to the Beneficiaries section.

Edit an executor or Trustee

  1. Click the three-dot menu on the right-hand side of the executor profile.

  2. Select Edit or Remove as needed.

Conclusion
