Why are my original and purchased units showing as one line item now?

Original and purchased units of the same security are grouped into a single entry to reduce list clutter. Click into any holding to open the detailed drawer and see the full breakdown of lots and sources. Less scrolling, more clarity.

How do I see the breakdown between original and purchased units?

Click on any consolidated holding to open the holdings detail drawer. You'll see a summary with total quantity and average cost, plus a breakdown showing original versus investment purchases.

How does the holding lot view change between FIFO and average cost methods?

FIFO matters display individual lots with specific purchase dates and costs. Average cost matters show consolidated units with combined average costs. The view automatically matches your matter's accounting method—no manual switching required.

Where can I see my running capital and income balances?

Running balances appear in your side menu navigation, providing immediate visibility into capital and income positions without accessing separate reports. Like a dashboard for your fiduciary accounting.

Why am I seeing all holdings in the account when they have no quantity?

By default, all holdings remain visible, even if the quantity is 0.00. This allows you to identify all historical holdings your account has held, prior to liquidations, distributions, transfers, and rounding effects without needing to search through transactions. If you’d prefer to hide zero-quantity holdings, select the Show active holdings checkbox at the top of the list.

What happens when I transfer all units of a holding out of an account?

If all units are transferred out, the original account will still show the position with a 0.00 quantity and a Transferred Out tag.

  • If Show active holdings is unchecked (by default), the system will list the holding for audit traceability.

  • If Show active holdings is checked, the holding will be hidden (unless a fractional residue remains).

Why do I still see a holding that shows 0.00 when I chose “Show active holdings”?

Sometimes a fractional amount remains in the system even though it rounds to 0.00 on screen. In that case, the holding will stay visible until the residual is cleared, so you don’t miss unresolved amounts.

Can I still edit a holding that shows 0.00?

Yes, but with limited actions. When you open the details for a zero-quantity holding, you’ll be able to:

  • Edit

  • View Transactions

Other actions are disabled for 0.00 holdings.
