Email a document

Send documents to contacts directly from the Documents section in Estateably. This article covers how to compose, send, and cancel an email from the Documents section.

Steps

  1. Go to the Documents section in your Estateably file.

  2. Click the three-dot menu next to the document you want to send and select Email.

  3. An email window opens with the following pre-filled fields — modify any as needed:

    • To — the contact's email address

    • CC — additional recipients, separated by commas

    • BCC — blind copy recipients, separated by commas

    • Subject — the file name

    • Body — a default message

  4. Attach the file if it is not already attached.

  5. Click Send. An "Email sent" confirmation appears in the bottom right corner.

    To cancel, click Cancel to close the email modal without sending.

Conclusion
