I did not open a file today, but received an invoice.

This article explains why you may have been invoiced unexpectedly.

Your team may have been invoiced because one of your accounting files incurred an annual fee.

The following case types incur yearly charges on Essentials, Core, and Advanced plans:

  • Estate accounting: $99.00/year, charged on the anniversary date of the file's creation.

  • Trust administration: $199.00/year, charged on the anniversary date of the file's creation.

  • POA administration: $199.00/year, charged on the anniversary date of the file's creation.

The billing contact receives an email a month in advance of every annual fee.

If the case is no longer active, it can be archived to suspend annual payments in advance of the charge. The file will remain available in a read-only format, and can be restored to an active file if needed.
