Step 1: Posting a Notice to Creditors
To begin, click on the "Notice to Creditors" button in your Estateably account. This will take you to the notice posting page.
All the information from your intake will be automatically populated on this page. If you need to make any changes, you can do so easily. Simply click on the field you wish to edit and make your changes.
Selecting the Date
Next, select the date on which the notice was published. This is an important step, ensuring your notice is published within the required timeframe.
Adding the Lawyer's Information
Enter the lawyer's contact information in the designated fields. This information will be included in the published notice.
Adding an Affidavit
If you want to include an affidavit with your notice, simply click on the designated box. This will allow you to upload and include the affidavit with your notice.
Step 2: Previewing and Publishing the Notice
Once you have entered all the necessary information, you can preview your notice by clicking the "Preview" button. This will allow you to review the notice and make final changes before publishing.
If everything looks correct, click the "Proceed" button to review your payment. Your credit card information, which you have previously added to your account, will be pre-populated for your convenience.
After reviewing your payment, click the "Pay and Publish" button to complete the process. Your notice may take a few seconds to publish.
Once the process is complete, you will receive a notification that your notice has been published. You will also be redirected back to your account page, where you can view the published notice on the State of Lee's website.
