Where can I view notifications in Estateably?
Notifications appear under the notification bell icon in the top-right corner of Estateably.
When there is a new notification, a red dot will appear on the bell icon. Click the bell to open the Notifications panel and view updates.
What types of notifications does Estateably send?
Estateably sends notifications for various activities, including:
Case file assignments
Task assignments
Task reviews
Task approvals or rejections
Being tagged in a note
Import completion notifications
Export completion notifications
These notifications help keep you informed about activity across your files and tasks.
How do I change my notification settings?
You can manage notification settings in your User Profile.
To update your preferences:
Click your initials in the top-right corner of the screen.
Select View Profile.
Navigate to Communication Preferences.
From here, you can configure how and when you receive notifications.
What notification delivery options are available?
For most notifications, you can choose how they are delivered:
Email and In-App notifications
Email only
In-App only
None
This allows you to customize how you receive updates based on your workflow.
What are deadline notifications?
Deadline notifications remind you about upcoming tasks or deadlines.
You can configure:
How you receive the reminder (Email, In-App, Both, or None)
How far in advance you want the reminder
Reminder timing can range from 2 days before the deadline up to 1 year in advance.
What are system notifications?
System notifications inform you when background processes in Estateably are completed.
Examples include:
Bank statement imports
File exports
These notifications appear in the notification bell and may also be sent by email depending on your communication preferences.
Will I receive a notification after importing a bank statement?
Yes.
After uploading a bank statement through Estate Accounting > Transactions > Import, Estateably will process the file. Once the import is complete, you will receive a notification in the bell icon indicating that the extract has finished processing.
You can then review the transactions and finalize the import.
Will I receive a notification after exporting tasks?
Yes.
When exporting tasks from the Tasks dashboard, Estateably will notify you once the export is ready.
You will receive:
An email notification with a download link
A notification in the notification bell
The export file will be provided in XLSX format.
Can I turn off notifications?
Yes.
Within Communication Preferences, you can select None for any notification category if you do not wish to receive notifications for that activity.
Do I need to save my changes after updating notification preferences?
Yes.
After updating your notification settings, select Save to apply your preferences.
