Activate the Clio integration
Click the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Settings.
Select Integrations from the left-hand menu under Organization.
Locate Clio in the list of integrations and click it to expand the row.
Click Activate. Estateably redirects you to Clio for authentication.
Click Allow Access in Clio to authorize the connection.
You are returned to the Organization Integrations section with Clio now active.
Map Clio fields to Estateably
From the Clio integration row, select Configuration.
Review the list of Estateably fields alongside their corresponding Clio field options.
Map each field by selecting the Clio field you want to pull data from for each Estateably field.
Confirm each field maps to the correct destination in Estateably.
Click Save when all fields are mapped.
Note: To map deceased information (such as name, date of death, and address), you must first create custom fields in your Clio matter. These custom fields then appear as options during field mapping.
Conclusion
The Clio integration populates Intake and Contact fields only. It does not sync accounting data, transactions, or documents. If a field is left unmapped, it is not populated during import. If a field is mapped incorrectly, the wrong information appears. Once mapping is complete, import Clio data by starting the file creation wizard and selecting Import from Clio when prompted. This is a one-time, one-way import.
